Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the financial health of the company. Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Managing the budgeting process and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Master of Commerce degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
